Lanvin for H&M?

When I was at the Teen Vogue Haute Spot this past Saturday, I was given a free copy of their latest copy of Teen Vogue with Nina Dobrev on the cover, but that's not what this post is all about. As I dug deeper into the magazine, I came across an article about H&M's crazy shoppers. A near-riot erupted at one of it's stores where people camped out overnight and for 24 hours just to wait out for the new Lanvin for H&M line. Looking at their line of clothing, I wouldn't really blame them...

Here are a few favorites from the new Lanvin for H&M line
On the flip side, the prices aren't exactly a favorite of mine (you have to look at me this way, I'm a 13-year-old girl with no solid income and whose parents aren't fans of buying me $40 tshirts...)

One last note:
Due to overwhelming amount of schoolwork and high school prep, Arielle and I will be posting a bit less often than we normally did. No worries though, we'll still be able to post enough for you to read! We're also working on creating an online magazine (:

What can you do with short hair? Let me count the ways...

1, 2, 3, 4, 5!

Hats, of course, are the first things people think of. And I'll admit it, I have an entire row of hats hanging in my room. So without any further ado, here's my twist on wearing a beret.

Claire's beret and owl clips

HEY. Demibobs are cool, okay? Just because you can twist and braid and what-you-do to your long hair doesn't mean there are a million possibilities when it comes to this sexy haircut.

Vintage Details

My camera's still broken (if you don't know by now) so I borrowed my friend's camera and took a picture of a (most likely) vintage watch I dug out of my parents' old stuff-storage-place-thingy. Unfortunately, the band is breaking apart. I may need to cover it with duct tape...ooh. Lightbulb!

Anyways, here are the images.

And a few other images to keep you guys amused until I replace my camera (hopefully)

Checkered Converse and striped knee-highs

A band I made on my own, found a blank sky-blue band in my box of art supplies and used pink puffy paint and rhinestones to decorate it. Don't usually wear these kind of things, but, I made it, so whatever.

HOLY. CRAP.

First off, I have good news and bad news. Let's start off with good news, yes?

PICTURES (they're a week old, though. they make me crave the hot sun that was beating down on me a mere seven days ago. stupid rain.)

I was actually influenced greatly by these posts by the glamourai. In fact, her posts influenced me enough to go out and buy my own animal-print dress, albeit a bit cheaper. And a bit more fun procrastination on Picnik, per usual.

ooh....alien...

do i look a bit creepy?

old-style polaroid...my favorite style

OP dress, Charlotte Russe vest, friend's hair tie as a bracelet

And for the bad news...unfortunately I dropped  my uber-cool Nikon Coolpix S8100 for the 2nd time on that stupid faux carpet. And it broke. For reals this time. So I'm looking for a new camera (with my own money this time :P) but for some time, I'll highly be unable to post up pictures. But I'll still do inspiration boards and runway comments. And Arielle may  be posting up things soon. But for now, check out our Polyvore and tell us your thoughts, yeah?

Don't care what others may say...

the first set of pictures:
I was at dinner with my parents about a week ago (last Friday, I believe) and we went to the desert and it was COLD. But when we went back home, it was still pretty cold, at least I had my jacket with me.

the second set of pictures:
This was right after a speech meet that I participated in (school thing) and it was supposed to be something dressy, but after realizing I didn't do laundry, I pretty much just threw something on and called it a day.

I had some fun with Picnik and such, so, yeah.

Gifted coat (first picture), Forever 21 t-shirt, Charlotte Russe vest, Banana Republic skirt, Forever 21 leggings, Claire's gloves, gifted necklace
------------------------------------------------------

Cozy sweater (literally the brand name), Converse for Target dress, thrifted necklace (though you can't really see it)

Chloe 2011 Runway Favorites

Another sets of runway favorites, this time from CHLOƉ
(all images from ELLE)

the mix of patterns really appeal to the creative eye...

I love the floatiness and the modern fairytale style of the dress

I love suspenders. Nuff said.

AND. GREAT NEWS. FOR ME AT LEAST.
My old, pink (I had it painted when I was five) room is gonna be gone soon. And I'm looking for inspirations. Vintage soda shop? Old glamour Hollywood? Any ideas?
